Registered Nurse (RN)

We can help you connect with aged care facilities and offer opportunities to work with facilities in your proximity. As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Neocare Health, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your advanced clinical skills. You'll be responsible for administering medications, wound care, conducting comprehensive health assessments, and providing high-quality nursing care to our residents

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Registration with AHPRA: Registered Nurses in Australia must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). This registration ensures that nurses meet the national standards for education, training, and professional conduct.
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD): RNs are required to engage in ongoing professional development activities to maintain and update their skills and knowledge. AHPRA and NMBA mandate that RNs complete a certain number of CPD hours and activities each year to renew their registration.
  • Aged Care-Specific Training: Some aged care facilities may require additional training or certification in areas relevant to aged care, such as dementia care, palliative care, or wound management.
  • Medication Management Training: RNs in aged care often administer medications, so they should have training in safe medication management, including knowledge of medication administration protocols and documentation.
